Richland 4-H Club
The Richland 4-H club was busy at their February club meeting. First, one of it’s members, Caleb St. John presented the group with an archery demonstration. The demonstration included such things as how to string the bow, how to approach the starting line, and how to shoot the bow. Next, the 4-Hers were able to make Valentines that were taken to residents at the Plainwell Pines nursing home. After completing their Valentines, the kids were able to decorate their own Valentine cookies. Everyone including the kids and parents had a great time celebrating Valentines Day!
Climax Willing Workers
Bookmarks and bead bracelets anyone? The Climax Willing Workers 4-Hers were able to make bead bracelets and bookmarks at their February Club meeting. Each member made a bookmark with the same colored beads…the beads represented the amount of daily servings each person should get based on the food pyramid.

4-H at the MSU Women's Basketball Game
On January 25 Kalamazoo County 4-H members had the opportunity to attend the Lady Spartan's Basketball game versus Wisconsin with many other 4-H members throughout the state. It was an opportunity to get together and celebrate the many things 4-H has to offer. MSU came out victorious 69-60 with a strong showing by Kalamazoo's own Cetera Washington #15.
