The Kalamazoo County 4-H Cavies & Critters project participated in the Reptile Show at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds on March 14th. Here they had the opportunity to raise funds for their project and recruit new members. Some of them even took a risk by having their picture taken with a boa.
The Pavilion Busy Clovers came together for their monthly club meeting on March 12th. The members had a great time playing Pictionary. Members drew anything from pots of gold, to a circle, to a horse. A fun time was had by all who attended and participated…kids and adults!
The Portage Partners had the great pleasure of having a veterinarian, Dr. Kim Lawrence, visit our club meeting. She was phenomenal at explaining her job, along with her training and educational background. She demonstrated what a veterinarian looks for during routine physical exams and showed us a variety of medical ailments that doctors encounter. Dr. Lawrence also brought her daughter, Stacy, and their "PAWS with a Cause" puppy, Libby. All three were awesome!!
