Galesburg United - Community Service

Members of Galesburg United pie making group got together to make pies for the teachers at GA Middle School for staff appreciation week.

Galesburg United - Cloverbud Crafts

One of the Galesburg United teen leaders work on crafts with cloverbuds during their community club meetings with the help of a few other club members.

Galesburg United - New Arrivals

The Galesburg United goat group and sheep group recently had some new arrivals.

Galesburg United - Ukrainian Culture

Galesburg United members got together to try the Ukrainian art of pysanky. They decorated several eggs using wax and different colored dyes. Afterwards, we had a lunch of cabbage rolls, borscht and shopsky salad. YUM!

4-H Teen Club

The Kalamazoo County 4-H Teen Club hosted a petting zoo and bake sale at the Tractor Supply on Gull Road. Even though it was rainy and cold it was a successful and fun event. They even let us bring a steer.

Go Green event at Celery Flats

Members of the Portage Partners 4-H club had the opportunity to participate in the Go Green Event at Celery Flats in Portage. At this event they had the opportunity to promote 4-H and help participants make animal bracelets.

Portage Partners - Bake Sale

Members from the Portage Partners 4-H club had a bake sale at a neighborhood garage sale.

Grand Rapids Award Trip

Kalamazoo County 4-H members and leaders who won the Grand Rapids Award Trip, traveled to Grand Rapids on May 1st and 2nd. They had the opportunity to go to Craig's Cruisers, Rock Climbing, the Imax Theatre, and Meijer Botanical Gardens. Members won this trip through their member award record books while leaders were nominated for the trip.
