Battle Creek Award Trip

9 Kalamazoo County 4-Hers were winners of the Battle Creek Award trip. They traveled to Battle Creek by train, went to Full Blast Waterpark and returned to Kalamazoo by 4-H bus. They received this award based on submitting their 4-H member award record book which was judged by the award committee.

Galesburg United - Petting Zoo

The Galesburg club took their petting zoo on the road June 5. They went to the Assisted Living Home at the Heritage Community complex. They visited the dementia unit. It was very rewarding for the kids and the residents.

Portage Partners - Memorial Day Parade

Portage Partners marched in the Portage Memorial Day parade to raise awareness for 4-H and try to recruit new members. A total of 31 members, siblings, and parents represented our club for the parade. Club members distributed 4-H stickers, candy, and mini-footballs. Oh what fun we had!
